A DIY spray to repel mosquitoes using distilled water, witch hazel, and essential oils of eucalyptus and lavender. Easy to prepare and ideal for use in your backyard.
1: Fill a spray bottle halfway with distilled water.
2: Add an equal amount of witch hazel to the bottle, filling it almost to the top.
3: Add 10-15 drops of each essential oil (eucalyptus + lavender) to the mixture.
4: Close the spray bottle, and shake well to combine all the ingredients.
5: Spray the mixture in your backyard, focusing on areas where mosquitoes tend to gather.
6: Reapply the spray every few hours or as needed.
